About Muswellbrook RSL Club

The Muswellbrook RSL and Golf Club, situated in the picturesque Hunter Valley, offers an incredible course and wonderful facilities. The town of Muswellbrook is situated in on the New England Highway, three hours from Sydney and just an hour and a half from Newcastle. With a population of 12,000, the town has been reliant on the thermal coal industry for most of its employment needs, however, the area has a diverse range of industries including wineries, horse studs and mixed farming. 

 

Most importantly, there is a large range of accommodation options in the area, which makes Muswellbrook a great destination for Golf and a wide variety of other leisure activities. You can enjoy a game of lawn bowls at the Muswellbrook RSL Club or come down to the Golf Club and try a game of Squash, Golf and even try our NEW Golf Simulator! 

 

At the RSL we have a very large main lounge, outdoor terraces, NEW Restaurant- Everest by Chef Raymond, kids playground and a coffee shop serving pies & sausage rolls, sandwiches, cakes, milkshakes and more! Our state of the art TAB areas has TAB Machines, Flexicast TV’s & Trackside. Not to mention, our RSL has a very large function room with seating for up to 300 People, and smaller rooms to suit your private function, seminars or staff meetings.

 

The Golf Course provides a championship 18-hole course of 6104 meters and it is a par 72 course. It is considered a challenging layout with five par 5 holes, eight par 4’s, and five par 3’s. There are eight water carries across the picturesque Muscle Creek which meanders through the course. The Club House provides all the facilities one would expect and a friendly convivial atmosphere welcomes all visitors. We can also cater for a smaller functions of up to about 100 people for Birthday parties,  Wedding Receptions and Wakes.
